The Doddger announced at the end of last week that he intends to continue serving as Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs in the 111th Congress. Lucky us.
If you can stomach the hypocrisy, read his whole statement. See if you can count how many times he talks about how important oversight is to him, then imagine if he and his buddies hadn't shot down the oversight that McCain, amongst others, proposed for Fannie and Freddie. Perhaps we wouldn't be where we are today.
